When MMA returned the Fokker F-28 Mk.1000 VH-MMJ (c/n 11013), it departed on a ferry flight from Australia to Amsterdam on 13 June 1970. While stopping in Kathmandu, the aircraft was shown to Royal Nepal Airlines.

Had the Nepalese airline purchased the Fokker F-28 Fellowship, it would probably have looked like this.

In a joint operation, the Argentine Air Force and Aerolíneas Argentinas incorporated the Fokker F-28 aircraft into their fleets.

This was part of a purchase of eight aircraft from the Dutch manufacturer: three Mk.1000s for Aerolíneas Argentinas and five Mk.1000Cs with cargo doors and reinforced floors for the Air Force.

These were assigned to the "II Escuadrón de Transporte de la ! Brigada Aérea" 2nd Transport Squadron of the 1st Air Brigade, based at El Palomar Air Base,
registered TC-51 to TC-55.

 On January 16, 1975, the first F-28 joined the fleet of the first air brigade, registration TC-51(cn.11076).  

The Air Force already had experience with the model, as the aircraft assigned to presidential transport, registered T-01 (cn. 11028), had been flying since December 1970.

The Aerolíneas Argentinas initially acquired three aircraft, registered LV-LOA, LV-LOB, and LV-LOC.

Quebecair

    Quebecair was an airline based in Montreal, Quebec, originally founded as Rimouski Airlines. In 1953, it adopted the name Quebecair following a merger with Gulf Aviation. Throughout its history, the airline operated a variety of aircraft, such as the Beech 18, the Beaver, and of course, the Douglas DC-3. Its first jet aircraft was the BAC 1-11, introduced in 1969. Quebecair operated regular domestic services in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario, as well as in the northeastern United States. In late 1986, the airline received a pair of Fokker F-28 Mk.1000 aircraft from Braathens SAFE. At that time, the government of the province of Quebec was a shareholder in the company, and its financial situation was truly precarious. In July 1986, CP Air acquired 35% of what remained of Quebecair, and the following year it became part of Inter-Canadien. The Fellowships remained in the fleet of the new company for only a couple of years before being sold to the French regional airline TAT, through a deal managed by Crédit Lyonnais.
