In the early 1980s the Bolivian government placed an order for two Fokker F-28 Mk.3000s for Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano. These were the cn planes. 11162 and 11165. However, they were never taken. In Mar 1995 the example cn 11203 was also offered to Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano, but it was not purchased either. This was an F-28 Mk.4000 that was eventually acquired by the Argentine government and was registered T-02.
The specimen serial number 11162 flew for the first time on 03Jul1980 with the test registration PH-EXY. It was finally acquired by the Colombian government and was incorporated into the SATENA fleet on February 7, 1985, identified FAC1141. On 11Apr2002 it was transferred to the Colombian Air Force with the identification FAC1041. This F-28 is currently flying!
c/n 11165, first flew on 29Jan1981 as PH-EXV. On 29Nov1983 it was re-registered PH-EXS. On May 15, 1984, PH-ZCG was registered. Finally it was sold to the Colombian government for the SATENA airline, registered FAC1140 and baptized “Marandua”. Accident on March 28, 1985.
